We will leave Santiago to start this Valparaíso and Viña del Mar Tour, a panoramic activity designed for those who only have one day to visit these two cities that represent the conservation and renewal of urban spaces on the central coast of Chile. The first stop will be at Río Tinto, a well-known wine supermarket, located in the Casablanca Valley. You will then continue your tour until you reach Valparaíso, a World Heritage city with its picturesque hills, elevators, viewing points and port. In the Jewel of the Pacific, as this city is also known, you will first visit the Plaza de los Poetas (Poets’ Square), where you will be able to see life-size sculptures of Pablo Neruda, Vicente Huidobro and Gabriela Mistral. Nearby the square you can find La Sebastiana, located on Cerro Bellavista, one of the three houses owned by the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, whose exterior you can see during the tour. The tour will also take you to other hills such as the famous Cerro Alegre. Afterwards, you will visit Viña del Mar, also known as The Garden City, where you will make a stop at the famous flower clock and where you will be able to see the original moai of Easter Island, located outside the Fonck Museum. After this, you will return to Santiago, ending the tour.
