We will leave Bogota to go to Suesca, the Colombian municipality of Cundinamarca, located in the province of Almeidas, 59 km northeast of Bogotá. Here you can appreciate the imposing rock formations and panoramic views of the mountains. Suesca, also known as the "Colombian school of mountaineering", is one of the top climbing destinations in Colombia. A professional rock climbing guide (ACME certified) will provide support and safety equipment, as well as guidance, for climbers of all levels. Depending on your level, you can choose between different climbing paths and as you ascend the rock walls you will be able to witness the impressive views of the Suesca landscape.
The equipment includes a harness, helmet, rope, safety gear, and climbing shoes, all under the supervision of a certified professional guide to ensure a safe and suitable experience for all skill levels.
It is recommended to wear comfortable, athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes with good grip, preferably footwear specialized for hiking or climbing.
The distance between Bogota and Suesca is approximately 59 km, with a travel time of around 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions.
