We will gather at the meeting point to begin this tour with a 45-minute sail to the Carlos Andwanter Nature Sanctuary. This sanctuary originated as a consequence of the Valdivia earthquake of 1960. The earthquake caused the banks of the Cruces River to collapse, forming a wetland of more than six thousand hectares, which over time became populated with aquatic flora and fauna. After visiting this sanctuary, you will go to Punucapa, a town of Huilliche origin, located 10 km north of Valdivia. Punucapa is known for its orchards, being the main supplier of fruits and other farm products to the city of Valdivia. Here you can see the almost 300-year-old Macrocarpa Cypress. Then there will be a tasting of Cuello Negro beer. Later you will be able to visit the oldest church in the area and finally there will be a cider tasting, before returning to Valdivia to finish the activity.
