We will gather at our meeting point to start this Valdivia & Niebla City Tour. Here you will be able to walk around and get to know the historic center of the city, appreciating its architecture and design that tries to maintain its original structure before the 1960 Earthquake. After exploring the center of Valdivia, you will head to Isla Teja, where you will explore the Botanical Garden of the Universidad Austral de Chile. Its 10 hectares are home to some 950 species of plants. After touring this natural space, you will continue your journey to Niebla, where you will be able to visit the Niebla Castle, which was named a National Historic Monument in 1950. Originally named the Castle of the Pure and Clean Conception of Monforte de Lemos of Niebla, the fortification was built in 1645 in order to defend the territory from the multiple invasions of the time.
