We will begin the Huilo-Huilo Reserve Day Trip leaving the city of Valdivia, following the road along the banks of the Calle-Calle River. You will pass through Antilhue and Los Lagos heading towards Panguipulli, where you will visit the lake's waterfront and have spectacular views of the Mocho Choshuenco volcano, weather permitting. You will then visit the Volcanic Cave Portal and the Llallalca waterfall, a double waterfall that transforms into a true spectacle of nature. Afterwards, you will visit the Huilo Huilo waterfall, a 30-meter waterfall that erodes the volcanic rock expelled by the eruptions of the Mocho Choshuenco volcano. Later you will head to Neltume for lunch and then visit the trail from where you can see deer and wild boars. You will also visit the Volcano Museum and continue the path to Salto La Leona. At the end of that trail, which is not very demanding, you will see the Montaña Mágica Hotel. On the way back, you will visit the town of Puerto Fuy, on the shores of Lake Pirehueico, where you can visit a food market before returning to Valdivia, where the tour ends.
