We will meet in our meeting point to take the transport to leave Seville to Italica. This, the first Roman city founded in the Iberian Peninsula, still has buildings of more than 2000 years ago, after occupying Turdetan territory. It is said that here were born the Roman emperors Trajan and Adrian. You will walk by the old Roman streets still preserved, and see mosaics and houses, like the Neptune. In addition, you will visit the Amphitheater of Italica, the third largest in the world, which had a capacity for 25 thousand people. In that place took place the games for the entertainment of the people. It is also one of the scenarios used for the TV series Game of Thrones. You will be able to visit the arena and galleries that are still preserved, where the guide will give some explanations and you will take pictures. Then, you will visit the Roman Theater, one of the best preserved in Europe and that still is used for some events, like the Santiponce International Dance Festival. Finally, you will visit the tourist attractions of different times located in the city, like the San Isidro del Campo Monastery, a medieval fortress that has several treasures of different times of the Spanish history. After this visit, you will take the transport back to Sevilla, where the activity ends.
