We will begin this activity with a trip outside of San Pedro de Atacama. The vehicle will take you to a parking area where you’ll start walking to the Purilibre Hote Springs, a walk of approximately 30 minutes through the Puritama Canyon. In this area, you’ll enjoy the desert scenery, see some cacti, and observe the unique rock formations of the region. You’ll arrive at the thermal pools, also known as Puripobre Hot Springs, with a maximum temperature of 22°C (72°F), where you can relax and recover your energy after the hike. After about 2 hours, you’ll begin the walk back to the vehicle to return to San Pedro de Atacama, where the activity ends.
*In this tour there’s no place for changing clothes, so we recommend you taking it using your bathing suit from San Pedro de Atacama.

Moreover, to access to Puripobre you have to make a 40-minute medium difficulty walk to reach the pools (not suitable for people with limited mobility), while in Puritama you can have easy access through walkways (suitable for all people).How much time do I have to use the hot springs?
