We will visit the Humahuaca Ravine or "Quebrada de Humahuaca", declared a Natural and Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO, a title that was awarded for its outstanding natural beauty and colorful hills. We will enjoy the unique landscapes of this valley, and visit the town of Purmamarca, from where we will have a privileged view of the Cerro de los Siete Colores (Seven Colors Hill) and the craft fair. We will continue along National Route 9, where we arrive at Humahuaca city, known for its narrow streets and particular houses, with adobe walls, ceilings of reed and mud. Here you can visit La Candelaria Church as well as several museums and monuments, such as the Independence Monument. On the way back we will visit the old temple of the town of Uquía, whose architectural characteristics are similar to the Bolivian highlands style . We will also visit Huacalera, where we can see a monolith which indicates the crossing of the Tropic of Capricorn Line. Another of the must-see points of the Quebrada de Humahuaca is the town of Tilcara, where you can see its main square and the surrounding area. After that, we will return to the city of Salta.
