We will gather at the meeting point to begin this El Ocaso Farm Day Trip. With this tour you will be able to understand the impressive world of specialty coffee. You will be able to tour the coffee plantations, with the harvesting and planting of seeds, in order to understand the process from the beginning. You will then see the composting and fertilization station for the crops, where you will learn about the sustainability of the flora and fauna. Afterwards, you will visit the processing plant, where the hopper, pulper, mechanical drying and traditional drying are located. You will be able to enter the coffee cellar to talk about the different processes that the coffee goes through on the farm. You will also visit the roastery where you will learn about the importance of this process in the quality of the coffee. Finally, you will learn about the preparation of coffee using the traditional cloth filter and pot method. In addition, if you choose the premium option, you will be able to enter the Coffee Lab where you will take part in a sensory workshop with different activities and you will also learn about coffee tasting practices.
