Itinerary
Day 1: Rurrenabaque – Santa Rosa – Las Tortugas.
We will pick you up at your accommodation in Rurrenabaque to start the trip though the landscapes of the Bolivian Amazon. During the trip you will see a sample of the animals you can find in the jungle, like capybaras and different birds. In the pier, after arranging the luggage, you will start a boat ride to Las Tortugas shelter, in which you will see other species that inhabit near the river. Once in the shelter, you will make a tour in the surroundings to identify the landscape and some animals that inhabit the place, like toucans and capuchin monkeys. In addition, you will make a boat ride to see the sunset in the Pampas del Yacuma.
Day 2: Pampas del Yacuma.
You will start the day with the breakfast so then you take the boat to the Yacuma River, where you will continue watching animals like alligators, turtles, dolphins, and birds, among others. After that, you will return to the shelter for lunch, after what you will be able to rest. During the afternoon, you will go out again in the boat to swim with pink dolphins or to fish piranhas, depending on the time of the year in which you make the tour. After that, you will return to the shelter for dinner and rest.
Day 3: Walk – Santa Rosa – Rurrenabaque.
You will start the day very early to enjoy the sounds of the jungle, with the birds singing and the sounds made by the howling monkeys at dawn. After that, you will have breakfast and will go to the place where you will walk searching the anaconda. Then, you will go back to the shelter for lunch and take your things to return to Santa Rosa and then to Rurrenabaque, where the activity ends.
