This tour will begin in Piazza della Repubblica, to continue towards the Via Appia Antica, one of the most important roads of ancient Rome, which connected the city with Brindisi, the most important commercial port with the eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. During the tour you will visit some of the most famous places in the Christian world, such as the Baths of Caracalla, which were the second largest baths in the city of Rome, and the Church of Domine Quo Vadis, the place where, according to the Apocryphal Acts of Peter, Saint Peter met the resurrected Christ. In the first part of this tour, on the Via Appia Antica, you can visit the Basilica of San Sebastiano Fuori le Mura, one of the seven churches of Rome and an important Catholic pilgrimage site. The tour continues towards Via Cristoforo Colombo, to reach the beautiful Basilica of San Paolo Fuori le Mura, a temple that is also part of the four major basilicas of the city, a World Heritage Site. Finally the tour will end at the same point where you started the activity.
