Beginning: Day 1 at 12:00 pm in Hostal Factoría.
End: Day 5 at 5:00 pm in downtown Puerto Natales.
Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Natales – Accommodation at Factoría Hostel.
You will spend your first night at the Hostal Boutique Factoría Patagonia, located 2.9 km from the Puerto Natales bus station. The property has a 24-hour reception and a restaurant, and offers a buffet or continental breakfast. For 1 and 2 people they will have access to a double room with a private bathroom, and from 4 to 12 people quadruple and sextuple rooms with shared bathroom.
Day 2: Torres del Paine National Park – Torres Base Trekking – Accommodation at Factoría Hostel (22 km, 8 to 10 hours).
We will get up early to have breakfast at the hostel and start the day with energy. The private transfer will be waiting for you to go towards Torres del Paine National Park. Once at the main entrance, Laguna Amarga, you will register yourself with CONAF, and then you will continue the trip to the Welcome Center. Then you will arrive at Torre Central where your trekking will begin, starting in the Ascencio Valley, where you can admire its large forests. Here, after passing through an immense field of giant rocks, you will reach one of the most emblematic viewpoints in the world, the famous Torres Base viewpoint, at 900 meters above sea level. From this place you have an unbeatable panoramic view of the turquoise glacial lagoon and the Torres del Paine, if the weather allows it.
Here you will have time to take photographs and enjoy your lunch box. Then we will return along the same path to take the private transportation that will take you back to Puerto Natales.
Day 3: Las Carretas Trail – Paine Grande Shelter (17 km, 6 hours).
You will leave the hotel in Puerto Natales early in the morning and the transfer will take you back to the Torres del Paine National Park. Here we will begin a walk along the Las Carretas trail to the Paine Grande Shelter. During the trekking you will have wonderful views of the park and Lake Pehoé. Upon arriving in Paine Grande, after checking in, you will be able to rest and enjoy dinner at the shelter.
Day 4: Paine Grande Shelter – Grey Shelter (11 km, 5 hours).
After breakfast you will begin the walk through a narrow and winding valley that leads to Los Patos lagoon. After passing the viewpoint, the path descends through a mountainous forest until reaching the shelter. From here, if you walk for about 10 more minutes, you will reach the Grey Glacier viewpoint, Here you will be in front of one of the arms of Campos de Hielo Sur. Dinner will be served in the shelter between 18:00 and 21:00.
If you want to have an unforgettable view of the Grey Glacier, you can take 3 to 4 extra hours (round trip) to head towards the famous hanging bridges, where you can see the best viewpoint of the glacier.
Day 5: Grey Shelter – Paine Grande Shelter (11 km, 5 hours).
After having breakfast in the Grey Shelter dining room, you will have time to visit the hanging bridges during the morning, if you did not do it the previous afternoon, you will be able to explore the spectacular panoramic views of the Grey Glacier. Then you will follow the same path as the previous day to return to Paine Grande. Afterwards you can rest in the shelter and enjoy dinner in the Paine Grande dining room.
Day 6: Excursion to the French Valley – Paine Grande Shelter (11 km, 5 hours).
The sixth day's walk will begin and end at the Paine Grande Shelter. After having breakfast at the shelter and getting your box lunch, you will prepare to travel to the heart of the park, bordering the blue waters of Lake Skottsberg. After approximately 2 and a half hours of walking, you will arrive at the Italian camp (park ranger), where you will begin your journey to the French Valley. Continuing along the route you will reach the Mirador Francés, here you will be able to appreciate incredible views of Los Cuernos, turquoise glacial lagoons and amazing hanging glaciers. You will have time to enjoy your lunch box while appreciating this beautiful view. After this stop you will descend along the same path towards the Italian camp and then towards the Paine Grande shelter.
Day 7: Las Carretas Trail – Return to Puerto Natales (17 km, 6 hours).
On this last day of your adventure you will have time to explore the surroundings of the place after enjoying breakfast. Later you will begin your return trip, along the same Las Carretas trail, where a private transfer will be waiting for you in the administration sector to take you back to Puerto Natales.
