We will meet in the meeting point in Villa Río Serrano. In this place, we will gather with the person who will guide us in the Serrano & Grey Rivers Kayak tour, we will have all the equipment (neoprene suite, boots and gloves, jacket, kayak spray skirt, rows, life jacket, helmet and dry bag) and will go to the Torres del Paine National Park. In the Pingo River Area, we will begin our kayak experience, with a 20-minute introduction, in which we will receive a safety briefing.
After that, we will board the kayaks and enter to the river, rowing until reaching the Grey Lake Peninsula. In this place, we will see the icebergs from the Grey Glacier floating on the lake, a one of a kind experience.
Then, we will go down river, so we will be rowing around 3 hours, with a stop in middle of the way in the Grey River Bridge and we will take a 20-minute detour upriver to arrive at the base from where we began the excursion.

The Serrano & Grey Rivers Kayak is a unique experience in which you navigate through the waters of the river, surrounded by mountains and glaciers of Chilean Patagonia. Departing from Puerto Natales, the tour allows you to explore spectacular landscapes, with views of the Southern Ice Fields and the majestic Paine Mountain Range. This tour is ideal for those looking for an adventure activity and wish to experience the immensity and beauty of Patagonia from a unique perspective, paddling in the natural environment of Torres del Paine National Park.
No previous experience is required to participate in the Serrano & Grey Rivers Kayak, as the tour is designed for beginners and people with different skill levels. The guides provide an introductory class and safety measures before starting, ensuring that all participants are comfortable and prepared. This kayaking excursion is perfect for those who want to experience an adventure in Chilean Patagonia in a controlled and safe environment, exploring the Serrano River and its surroundings.
The Serrano & Grey Rivers Kayak includes all the necessary equipment, such as kayaks, paddles, life jackets and waterproof suits. Participants should only bring comfortable layered clothing, an extra change of clothes, and sunscreen, as the weather in Patagonia can be unpredictable. It is also recommended to bring a waterproof camera to capture the spectacular views of the Paine Mountain Range and the surroundings of the Serrano River. These measurements ensure a safe and comfortable experience on the tour from Puerto Natales.
The meeting point for this activity is the Nash Lodge, in the Villa Río Serrano, so you have to go from Puerto Natales to this place following the route Y-290, considering the time you will have to spend to get there on time (around two hours). We recommend renting a car for this, so you can manage your time and be able to travel with more freedom, or consider the Hotel Lago Grey & Villa Río Serrano Shuttle, with its corresponding terms.

The entrance fee for Torres del Paine National Park must necessarily be bought not later than the day before the excursion, in https://www.pasesparques.cl/. At the moment of the pickup, the guide will ask for the entrance fees to all passengers, including children and adults over the age of 60. If one of them does not have the tickets, he or she will not be able to make the tour and there will be no refund.
The entrance fee is valid for 3 consecutive days, so you can re-enter without paying again, as long as you pass for one of the entrances so valid your ticket.
