Birdwatching is the hobby of observing birds in their natural environment. With this Birdwatching activity you will be able to discover unique birds, observing them either with the naked eye or with a visual enhancement device such as binoculars or spotting scopes. The Magallanes region, specifically the surroundings of Torres del Paine National Park, is home to 118 different types of bird species, such as the Chilean flamingo, that live in the numerous lakes and lagoons of the park. There are also 15 species of birds of prey and also the Andean condor, which lives in the rocky cavities of the mountains. You will be able to identify different types of birds by listening to the distinctive sounds they make. During the activity you will travel through beautiful and impressive landscapes, while you get to know Vega Castillo and Cerro Benítez.
