We will take the road that runs along the shores of Lake Llanquihue until we reach the Ensenada area. From there, you will begin the ascent to the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, where you will stay for approximately 1 hour to admire the landscape and take pictures of the impressive peaks of the Andes Mountains, the vast Lake Llanquihue, and even the Pacific Ocean, if weather conditions allow. Optionally, those who wish may enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate at the café, or take the chairlift up to Primavera Station (4,757 ft above sea level) or Glacier Station (5,741 ft above sea level) for an additional cost. Next, you will continue to the Petrohué area, within Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park (entrance not included). In this natural setting, you will walk along trails surrounded by lush forest until you reach the stunning Petrohué Falls, where you can witness the power of the river of the same name. From there, you will travel 5 km further to Puerto Petrohué, on the shores of Lake Todos los Santos. If the weather and boat availability permit, those interested may take a 30-minute boat ride, enjoying the breathtaking views of the lake with the volcano and forests as a backdrop. At the end of the day, you will board the transport for the return journey.
*The coffee shop and the chair lifts are not available until further notice, so the visit to the volcano is only to the ski resort.
*The end time of the tours may be extended up to 2 hours on long weekends, holidays and dates with a lot of passengers.
The entrance fee for Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park must necessarily be bought not later than the day before the excursion, in https://www.pasesparques.cl/. At the moment of the pickup, the guide will ask for the entrance fees to all passengers, including children and adults over the age of 60. If one of them does not have the tickets, he or she will not be able to make the tour and there will be no refund.
