We will depart from Puerto Montt to begin this tour that will take you to discover Llanquihue, Frutillar, and Puerto Octay. The first stop will be in Llanquihue, a city known for its traditional sausage factory and for being the origin of the Maullín River. From there, you will take the Camino del Lago to head to Frutillar, where you will learn about its history and that of the German settlers who established themselves in the area, transforming it into an important shipping port.
During the tour, you will admire its old houses, always set against the majestic backdrop of the volcanoes. In Frutillar, you will have the option to visit the German Colonial Museum (admission not included), an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of the region's culture and traditions. You will then walk along the Llanquihue Lake waterfront, where you will find the impressive Teatro del Lago, a regional landmark. To end the tour, you will visit Puerto Octay, the first port used for the export of agricultural products to Osorno. There, you will stroll through its historic streets and Plaza de Armas, while learning more about the German influence on the development of the area.
