We will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning to start this Monkey Island, Agua Clara Locks and Fort San Lorenzo tour. First we will pass through the port of Gamboa, to take the boat with which you will tour the iconic Panama Canal, here you will be able to appreciate wonderful views of Panama. You will have time to admire the fauna and vegetation of the tropical forest, as well as Monkey Island where you can see white-faced capuchin monkeys, Geoffrey's tamarin monkeys and mantled howler monkeys in their natural habitat. Once the boat trip of around 2 hours is over, you will visit the new Panama Canal, Clear Water Locks, where the Visitor Center allows you to observe the boats in transit from a panoramic viewpoint, and you can also watch a documentary about the history and construction of the new canal. Once this visit is over, you will continue the tour crossing the new Atlantic Bridge and passing through the jungle of Panama until reaching the Fort San Lorenzo National Park, where you can visit a remote rainforest full of flora and fauna, and the Fort San Lorenzo, a 400-year-old Spanish fort situated on a picturesque cliff overlooking the Caribbean, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will be able to hear many stories about pirates and privateers attacks that occurred in one of the most historically important places in Panama. Once the tour is over, you will return to Panama City, ending the tour.
