We will gather at our meeting point to begin this Philadelphia and Amish Region Day Trip, where you will visit emblematic places of American culture and its independence. You'll first visit Elfreth's Alley, a historic street in Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood, the oldest preserved street in the country. You'll also see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, a national monument known as the site where the United States Declaration of Independence was debated and adopted. The next stop will be at John F. Kennedy Square, where you will find the Love sculpture by Robert Indiana, The City Hall and the great Masonic Temple of Philadelphia. Then you can see the famous stairs of the art museum where the Rocky Balboa movie was filmed. Then you will visit Lancaster County, where you will meet the Amish community and take a tour inside a house that was originally inhabited by a local family. During the walk you will learn about their lifestyle, religion, traditions and customs, far from modern life. To finish the tour, you can have lunch in their markets (not included) and buy some of their products, and then return to New York.
