We will gather to start this Medellin Chiva Tour. With this tour you will be able to get to know Medellín in a themed transport, visiting iconic places such as Pueblito Paisa, Botero Park and Pies Descalzos Park. Chivas or stair buses have been part of Colombia's transportation history since the 20th century, so you can explore the city while traveling in the typical transport. Throughout the tour you will discover emblematic places and appreciate the works by local artists that are known internationally. You will also have a ticket for the Metrocable that passes over one of the most popular neighborhoods in the city. At the end of the tour you will return to the area of El Poblado.
Pueblito Paisa is a scaled recreation of a typical Antioquian village, which is part of the Medellín Chiva City Tour. In this charming place, you can stroll through the cobblestone streets of the village, explore craft shops, coffee shops, and restaurants offering local cuisine, and learn more about the traditions and lifestyle of Antioquian towns.
Botero Plaza, located in downtown Medellín, houses an impressive collection of sculptures by the renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero. During the City Tour, visitors will have the opportunity to admire the large sculptures of human and animal figures with Botero's characteristic voluptuous and rounded style, walk through the plaza, and discover more than 20 sculptures spread across its paths and green spaces.
At Pies Descalzos Park, visitors can take off their shoes and walk on different textures, explore winding paths, enjoy fountains and sculptures, and relax in the green areas, a unique sensory experience in the heart of the city.
