We will gather at our meeting point to start this Free Tour City of London. The first point of the tour will be the magnificent Tower of London, an emblematic medieval fortress that is a thousand years old. Today, the Tower of London displays the stunning Crown Jewels. Then you will continue the tour to Tower Bridge, London's famous bascule and suspension bridge, built between 1886 and 1894, which crosses the River Thames. Then you will go to The Monument, an impressive 61-meter-high Doric column erected in memory of the Great Fire of London of 1666. Continuing with the tour you will reach Leadenhall Market, which in the past was a fur and meat market and today it is a vibrant center of restaurants and bars. The next stop will be at The Royal Exchange, the original site of the London Stock Exchange, which now has luxury shops. From this place you can also admire the Bank of England, a building that fulfills the dual function of national bank and warehouse of one of the largest gold reserves in the world. The tour will end at the majestic St. Paul's Cathedral, a place of Anglican worship that stands out for its monumental dome.
