You will head to the Mamalluca Observatory, located 9 kilometers northwest of Vicuña and which opened its doors in November 1998. The observatory is located on the hill of the same name in the heart of the Elqui Valley. Here you will be welcomed by the observatory team. This place has a planetarium, visitor rooms, manual and automatic telescopes. A specialized astronomy guide will give an educational talk and then lead an hour and a half outdoor activity, where you will observe the sky with your eyes and also using manual telescopes. After admiring the night sky and learning about the stars, you will return to your accommodation in the city of La Serena.
