You will begin the tour from Iquique towards the north, where you will stop in the town of Huara for breakfast. Then you will reach the majestic Cerro Unita, to observe the Atacama Giant geoglyph, an interesting vestige of the ancient inhabitants of the north. Afterwards, you will go to a ravine where the Andean town of Chusmiza is located. Here you will be able to enjoy some time in the hot springs surrounded by an incredible natural environment.
After having lunch in the Andean village of Cariquima, you will visit the Isluga National Park, where you will have the opportunity to see the flora and fauna of the area on the banks of the river of the same name. Along the way, you will also visit the Aravilla lagoons, and Mauque and Enquelga towns, where you will have access to more information about the Ayamara culture. After this, you will return to Iquique, finishing the activity.
*Part of this tour is made above 3,000 m or 9,842.5 ft. of altitude, so we recommend not having breakfast at your accommodations before the beginning of the activity, and read this article to avoid the symptoms of the altitude sickness.
