We will gather at our meeting point to start this Sefrou, Ifrane & Azrou Day Trip. You will first go to Sefrou, located 28 km south of Fez, a very old walled city in the foothills of the Middle Atlas mountain range. Sefrou is known for its Sefrou Cherry Festival, which is UNESCO-endorsed, and is held annually every June. Sefrou cherries are famous throughout Morocco and its popularity dates back to the 1920s. The area's abundant cherry trees give the town an oasis-like appearance. You will then continue your journey arriving at Ifrane, a stunning city with pseudo-Alpine towns, founded by the French administration in 1928. In one of its parks you will find the Ifrane's lion sculpture. Finally you will visit Azrou, a city famous for its carpet crafts. Azrou is also nearby the Atlas Cedar Forest, home to the endangered Barbary macaques.
