We will pick you up at your accommodation to begin this tour, leaving from Hanga Roa to go to the Puna Pau quarry, an archaeological site east of Hanga Roa from where the pukaos or head accessories with which the moai were crowned were obtained. You will follow the route to the Ahu Akivi, the first scientifically restored ahu on the island around 1960. With seven moai, this platform is characterized by being one of the few located in the center of the island with statues that face the rising sun. According to legend, these moai would represent the Seven Explorers sent before the arrival of Hotu Matu'a to reconnoiter the island. Then you will visit Tahai, located to the north of Hanga Roa. Finally you will return to your accommodation, ending the activity.
