We will pick you up at your accommodation to start this Half-Day Horseback Riding through Easter Island. First, the guide in charge will give a safety talk where helmets and gaiters will be available and will prepare you for the tour. There are two different tours available:

Trip to the Caverns (3 hours). Not suitable for claustrophobics. On this route we will visit Ana Kakenga, one of the most visited caves on the island, and Ana Te Pahu, which is located on the slopes of Maunga Terevaka and is the largest cavern on the island. Ana Kakenga has the particularity of being an underground cave with two tubes overlooking a cliff facing the sea. Ana Te Pahu is a larger cavern inside the Roiho sector, which also served as a refuge for the Rapa Nui during the time of slavery. This horseback ride ends at Ahu Akivi, a platform with seven restored moai of importance for astronavigation and with the particularity of being the only moai that face the coast.

Climb the Maunga Terevaka volcano (3 hours). On this route you will go to the highest part of Rapa Nui, the Maunga Terevaka. Here you can enjoy the wonderful views and the beautiful nature of the island. After 2 hours of ascent you will reach the summits of Rano Aroi and Maunga Terevaka, which are over 500 meters high, and will allow you to have a panoramic view of the entire Easter Island, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean.
