Why there are prices for type of accommodations in Aguas Calientes?

The tour has confirmed daily departures and can be booked up until 48 hours in advance. However, entrance tickets for the Machu Picchu citadel and the Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu Mountains are always subject to availability, so we recommend booking as far in advance as possible.
Prices of the programs with entrance fee to Machu Picchu for type of accommodation in Aguas Calientes until December 31st, 2024:
If you select a program without entrance fee to Machu Picchu, you must have a ticket to the route Circuito 2 - Ruta Clásica Diseñada with enter time from 6:00 am to 7:00 am or from 7:00 am to 8:00 am, and a discount will be applied as follows:
*Andean Community: resident citizens in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia.
*Discount for minors: you can access to the prices for minors (age 14 to 17) directly in the passengers’ number selector.
*It is not possible visiting both mountains, Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu, in the same tour.
Beginning: Day 1 at 5:00 am at your hotel in Cusco.
End: Day 4 at 8:00 pm at your hotel in Cusco.
Day 1: Cusco – Calca – Lares – Huacahuasi.
We will begin this tour with the bus trip through the Sacred Valley, between the Peruvian Andes and the jungle, where you will be surrounded by numerous rivers that descend through the mountains, small valleys, numerous archaeological monuments and indigenous communities. You will pass through the town of Calca at 2940 m altitude. After four hours you will arrive at the Lares valley, at 3,200 m above sea level, a paradise with beautiful glacial lagoons. Here you can visit the thermal baths and have lunch. Then you will begin a 4-hour walk to reach the Huacahuasi camp, at 3600 m high, where you can have dinner and rest in the tent.
Day 2: Huacahuasi – Abra Ipsay – Patacancha.
After breakfast, you will begin the walk towards Abra Ipsay, at 4480 m altitude. Along the way, you will be able to see the communities that inhabit the place, with the colorful clothing of the people of Lares. Then you will arrive at the Ipsaycocha lagoon, where you can have lunch and rest for a moment. Then you will descend to the community of Patacancha, where the second camp is located. Finally you can have dinner and rest in the tent.
Day 3: Patacancha – Willoq – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes.
After breakfast you will begin the descent towards Willoq, where its Quechua community keeps its ancestral customs and traditions alive, such as its textiles, ceremonies and agricultural activities. You will continue your tour visiting towns and archaeological remains such as Qocachapata and Pumamarca. Once in Ollantaytambo you will have time to have lunch and rest. Then you will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Here you will spend the night in a hostel.
Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco.
You will begin your trip to Machu Picchu early in the morning to be able to see the sunrise from above. Here you will have a 1-hour guided tour of the citadel and then you will have free time to walk around and explore the area. You can also climb Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayna Picchu (not included). Finally you will return by train to Ollantaytambo, where the transfer will take you back to Cusco to your respective accommodation.
