We will pick you up at your accommodation to start this trip to Villa Cerro Castillo, to the south of Coyhaique, following the Carretera Austral. From Cerro Castillo you will go to the starting point of the Cerro Castillo Lagoon Trek of high physical demand. The trek will take you by the landscapes of the Cerro Castillo National Park, formed by the native woods, views of the Ibanez River and the Lake General Carrera. After that, you will reach the lagoon’s lookout point with turquoise-colored waters and the Cerro Castillo in the background. There you will be able to rest and take pictures of the landscape and glaciers if the weather allows it. Then, you will return to complete 7 km walking, in around 7 hours. You will take the vehicle back to Coyhaique, where the activity ends.
