After meeting in our meeting point, we will start this guided visit of the Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs, building that, according to that period customs, had military characteristics. After recovering the territory, this building was constructed over the old Alcazar of the Umayyad and there lived the Catholic Monarchs until the Granada War that marked the victory of the Spanish Crown over the last sultan of the Iberian Peninsula. From 1492 to 1812, the building was used as headquarters of Tribunal of the Spanish Inquisition. During the tour, which will have the guide's explanations, you will see the Torre de los Leones (lion's tower), the Sala de los Mosaicos (mosaics' room), and the Patio Morisco, among others. Finally, you will visit the gardens where you will be able to see the different flowers cultivated and how the environment is maintained fresh due to the fountains and water that comes from the sierra.
