Price
We will pick you up at your accommodation in the city of Copiapo to start this trip to the border between Chile and Argentina. On the tour to the Laguna Verde (Green lagoon), the first stop will be the Puquios Ruins, abandoned mining town of great importance during the 19th century. After that, you will the Maricunga Salt Flat, the southernmost salt flat in Chile. After taking some pictures and admire the landscape, you will continue the road from where it is possible to see the Nevado Tres Cruces. In addition, you will be able to see the Lamas River, watercourse born in the just mentioned mountain and flows into the Maricunga Salt Flat. The same way, from the road, you will see the Ojos del Salado Volcano, the tallest in the whole planet with 6891 m of altitude. Finally, you will reach Verde Lagoon, a hypersaline water body located at 4350 m of altitude, in the bottom of a valley surrounded by the Ojos del Salado, Muerto, and Incahuasi volcanoes, among others. Then, you will return to the city of Copiapo where the activity ends.
