We will gather at our meeting point to begin this complete tour of the historic neighborhood and surroundings of the city. You can visit the industrial area and the surroundings of Parque Ferrando. Then you will tour the Real de San Carlos area, stopping at the San Benito chapel and the Mihanovich Complex, also known as the Nicolás Mihanovich Tourist Complex, a structure from the early 20th century that was a tourism milestone in Uruguay. Here you can see the old hotel (current headquarters of the Polytechnic University of Valencia), the Bullring, the Frontón, the Power Plant and the Dock. Then, along the west coast, bordering the large bay and its beaches, you will be able to see different residential neighborhoods, until you reach the center of the city and its commercial areas. You can enter the historic neighborhood through the Portón de Campo of the old Colonia del Sacramento. At the end of the tour you will return to the starting point.
