You will start this Puebla & Cholula Day Tour departing from Mexico City. During the tour you will have wonderful views of the mountains in the background, so you can admire the beautiful landscape and see the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes. After this beautiful tour, you will arrive at the historic town of Cholula. This place takes its name from the goddess Cholula, considered the goddess of life, light and fertility, and therefore, the city of Quetzalcóatl was considered a sacred city. From here you will visit Santa María de Tonantzintla, a unique church that combines two religious interpretations, the indigenous and the Christian, and it is also considered the most representative church of indigenous baroque art. You will also visit Puebla, known for its traditional gastronomy, colonial architecture and ceramics. Here you will visit the Cathedral and the historic center of Puebla, accompanied by a local guide. Before returning to Mexico City, you will have time to try the local food and visit the El Parián Market, as well as free time to explore on your own.
