We will gather at our meeting point where the Meteora Day Trip from Athens will begin. During the trip you can relax while admiring the beautiful Greek landscapes. Upon arrival in Kalambaka, the local guide will welcome you and begin the 4+ hour panoramic tour of Meteora. First you will have a brief stop to eat (not included). Then you will start the tour visiting the six monasteries and getting to know the interior of three of them. You will be able to learn everything about this globally unique geological phenomenon, the creation of the rock formation, the history of the monasteries and the life of the monks. On this tour you will have the privileged opportunity to see the Hermit Caves of Badovas. If you visit the area during the winter season (November 1 to February 22), you will have the opportunity to see the Meteora sunset from the viewing point on the rocks. Finally you will begin the return to Athens, where the tour will end.
