We will pick you up at your hotel to start this activity where you will spend some time visiting local farms. The first stop on the Animal Tour will be the Aruba Ostrich Farm, where you will see ostriches, of course, as well as emus, two of the world's largest birds. There will be a guided tour where you will learn all about these birds. Afterwards, you will move on to the Donkey Sanctuary, founded in 1997 with the goal of saving these animals that, despite being an introduced species, worked very hard for the inhabitants of the island as pack animals before motor vehicles arrived. Today, this sanctuary helps conserve these animals that were almost completely extinct on the island in the 1970s. Finally, you will visit Philip's Animal Garden, where Phillip Merryweather began rescuing exotic animals to care for them and today has become a rescue and rehabilitation shelter. You will learn about the over 50 species of animals that have lived at the shelter. Afterwards, you will return to your accommodation, ending the tour.
