You will start this tour heading to Guarda do Embaú, located 57 kilometers south of Florianópolis. This region is next to the Parque Estadual da Serra do Tabuleiro, a large natural preservation area. You will arrive at the Guarda Gosto restaurant, which we will use as a meeting point, as you will have free time to explore this area. The beach is long, with fine, clear sand, and the waves break at the mouth of the Rio da Madre. Access to the beach is via the river by canoe (optional, R$ 5 per person). You can also optionally access the 1-hour hike to Costão da Guarda (not included), where you will reach a beautiful panoramic point with views of Guarda do Embau beach, the Rio da Madre and the Pedra do Urubu viewpoint.
